need hlp with domain and range?

given:
5/(sqrt(9-x^4)) find the domain and range. Could some show me the steps to find these. thx

  1. Domain is what x equals and range is what y equals… in this problem the denominator cannot equal zero and the value under the square root cannot be negative.

    to find the domain set
    9 – x^4 >0 and solve for x to get your domain… y depends on x so use this answerr to find out what y will equal

    To find the domain of a rational, set the denominator = to 0 and that number isn't your domain.

    You have both. SO:

    9-x^4=0
    x^4=9 (I multiplied both by -1 so there isn't a neg x)
    fourth root both sides.
    x= plus or minus fourth root of 9

    IDK about the range.
