here is the error message i keep getting. i'm sending to various domains; i.e. aol, ,hotmail, etc.?

Just after the text you've copied, the REAL problem will reveal itself. All of the text you've copied is the SMTP program "qmail" giving you a friendly introduction to the real problem. The lines just after "Sorry it didn't work out" will be what we'd need to help you fix this issue. Post that, and then we'll talk.
