What's a good site to use to build a website with my own domain name? I don't know HTML.?

I want to register my own domain name, what does that cost and where do I do it at? Is it a one time fee? I don't know HTML, so what's a good hosting site for me to use that has templates or where I can upload my own fonts and images?

don't bother looking for a free domain name. you only get those with paid hosts like this one.

there is no way to get both free domain names and free hosting.

don't listen to anyone's lies about the following being a free domain name. it only shortens your current url, ads a bunch of popups, and don't work half of the time.

well for a domain, it will cost you, you can get some quirky ones like yoursite.me.you.us.com for free, but for a real one like yoursite.com it can cost from 7$ a year to thousands, depending on the name you pick. one name that comes to mind is godaddy.com, they have them in various prices and for sale. but for free ones you'll need to search google but most/all put ads on your page, as for web hosting, (file space) you'r best bet is probabally downloading a nice free copy of apache webserver for windows, its dead easy to set up, and is only limmeted to the size of your hdd, but you need dsl, and to know your ip address, and hope that your ip is static. if these are all known then you are set.

if you need help setting it up just give me an email creamycenter2003@yahoo.com

oh and if you use a page builder, you can save the html files in your htdocs folder in apache and you wont have to worry about file space
