As stated this question has extremely arbitrary connotations–if and when eminent domain is used for the purpose of increasing tax revenue–that particular case would have to be reviewed to really know if it was justified or not–and that judgement would have to come from the citizens of that particular community–as if they are ever truely consulted about anything—-THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH EMINENT DOMAIN IN THE FIRST PLACE IS THE FREE HANDED WAY IN WHICH GOVERNMENTS USE IT FOR DANG NEAR ANY PURPOSE THAT SUITS THEM AND ALOT OF INNOCENT PEOPLE ARE HURT –USUALLY UNDER THE GUISE OF "PUBLIC GOOD"———

    i love the idea of taking those peoples property as payback…

    It seems that the rich folk have all their own people in power, like the Gov in Fl. Here they can take your property because a rich builder wants to get richer and it's legal!!I think we should go and have everything they own taken because we want to increase the land for, oh say, habitat for humanity. How would they like it?
