Globat OS Commerce help!!!!?

if so can you please let me know how to build my website using the php format. I'm not sure if i need a thrid party to do this.
If you never used this, can someone with php, ftp knowlege help me out??
I'm starting my own online store and i have the domain and all but i'm a bit in over my head with this thing. I've been trying to build this site and nothing.
Any help would be great!!! Thanks!!!

Can't help you out with globat, but you can get oscommerce already installed at http://at3host.com They also have Zen Cart which I think is better. I can help you through the process if you need help because I've installed Zen cart a hundred times on my personal computer. I also think it's better to set up a practice personal server at home so that you don't spend all night FTPing files. I've done a nice tutorial showing how to install the server and Zen cart. it's a 5 meg PDF file and it takes you through it step by step. Everything is free including the tutorial. Globat sucks, just search it in google and you will come to know.
I am using http://aplis.net/ so far I am happy with their web hosting service.
