HostMonster?!? Is it a risk paying by credit card???

Only answer if you'v experienced using them.

I'm not sure, but I think if you use paypal, the person you're paying don't actually get your card details. Paypal is kinda like the middle man between you and the other person. Also if you're wondering, most credit cards have insurance, so it's safer to use it than to use a debit card if you want to pay directly by card.

But I have used many hosting companies and I'm never had a problem with any of them . either way with Paypal you are protected and most credit card companies offer some protection.
based on your question I briefly looked into the background of that company and was not able to find any problems that they had in the past .
