Ipowerweb Class Action Lawsuit?

Why hasn't a lawyer picked up this case and filed a class action lawsuit against Endurance International and their daughter company Ipowerweb? Thousands of customers have lost out on web services and email; completly devistating some businesses. Yet no one is willing to stand up and get the ball rolling on a lawsuit. Here is a link to hundreds of customers who are more than willing to jump on board:

  1. maybe you should research what class action suits are – lawyers don't file them, plaintiffs do.

looks like lots of small time web sites at one isp – the damages are small when you add it up, the likilhood of collecting is also small, and lawyers won't find it worth their time or money to invest in such a suit.

not only that, but the tos of the isp probably says these things can happen (which is true) and they are not responsible, and everyone signed up anyway.

and apparently they are working diligently to get it going still.

if you don't have a back up of your sites (which is pretty trivial to do) then whose' fault is that?

Moving your domain to another host takes less then an hour if you have a backup.

sorry, you won't like this answer, but you asked indignantly why someone else wont do something on your behalf, and that is why. No damages, nothing to win or collect, and no breaking of contracts. But there is a remedy – simply move your account to another ISP.
