Is GoDaddy.com a good place to register my domain name?

Is there anything I need to know about GoDaddy before I buy? They're so darn cheap i can't help but feel like there's a catch!

It's ok but I prefer yahoo.com for a domain register. That's where I started mine. It's the same price.

i bought one from godaddy and it's confusing as hell. i wouldn't recommend it at all. but i HIGHLY recommend lypha.com. they have an extremely easy-to-use control panel, and it's a good price too.

They are a great place to buy domain names. They had a superbowl commercial back at the last game.

There's no problem with GoDaddy, but really, DNS registration is a commodity service at this point. I've used around 10 different registrars over the years, and they are all basically about the same. I usually shop for the service based on price.

I've got 20 names with them. I've been using them at least 5 yrs. They're the best!

I used them and had no problem. However i did let it expire. Now I am using Yahoo only because I saw an advertisement when I needed one. I only use yahoo or godaddy for my personal domain.
A lot of people talk highly about Network Solutions. Both places I work use Network Solutions. I am not sure what makes them so much better except their reputation. They are more expensive, but have a great track record.

this is Cherokee I wanted to let you know a few things and I am sure others will read this as well. When I asked a question about moving you was the one that came off with a smart mouth not me. You did say you was sorry in some additional comments. In one of your other questions I replied to you as reporting you to customer service(which I did), but this was to the remark you made on my previous question.
