Help with Bluehost needed?

I can't figure out how to view a page I uploaded. I saved it as index.html, but I can't view it as a site. How do I do this? Also, if I double click on it, all I get is something saying that internet explorer has stopped the website from downloading stuf onto my computer.

Did you upload your page to your "public_html" folder? Are you sure that you spelled the file name in all lower-case letters?
