Why does GoDaddy not allow backordering of some domain names?
Posted on Dec 29, 2008 under GoDaddy.com | 2 CommentsWhen searching for domain names through GoDaddy, most of the time if the domain is already taken, you will have an option to backorder it. However, occasionally, it will have an "X" over the domain and will not allow any backordering. What is the reasoning behind this? What causes a domain name to not be backordered? (example: type in jump.com)

I'm pretty sure the X means that someone else already has it backordered.
