Free Web Hosting -anyone any tips?
Posted on Jan 31, 2009 under free hosting | 6 CommentsI'm looking to start up a website just for my own use and i'm wondering what the best 100% free hosts are. Also. i dont have Front Page and I'm useless at HTML so is there any alternaive to this? Thanks in advance!

If you are going to start up a website you will need a HTML editor and some skill in HTML. I would suggest starting off with a http://www.geocities.com website, they offer a HTML editor and it is an easy way to learn. Here is a great website to teach yourself the basics. http://www.w3schools.com/default.asp once you get the hang of where code gose you can move on to useing templates, here is a site with free web templates http://www.steves-templates.com/templates.html once you learn how to add your own input to the template you can get the hang of editing what you need. you will also need a downloadable program to help you with your html editing so here is a few free HTML editors http://www.tucows.com/preview/397905
