    That always costs money. First you have to register the domain which is about ten bucks a year. Then you have to find a real host. That is about $6.95 a month. There is a way to redirect it to a dynamic IP and run your own server fro free, but that is pretty complicated to set up and the fact that you are asking this question tells me that you don't know enough to do it.

    No one is going to do what you asked for free because it costs them money. Putting in a subdomain is pretty cheap which is why they can do it for free in exchange for some advertising.
