Posted on Feb 27, 2009 under best hosting | 7 CommentsI am looking to build a network of sites with one parent site and 2 to 4 sub sites for a network of businesses. I will need to play sound clips and would like to have the ability to have a visitor fill out and submit forms. It would also be great if I could have an avatar that talks. So, as you can see, I'm looking for more that a simple personal site. I'm also looking for the best software to build these sites.

Can someone help me with some web hosting information for a small business? Which is best for me?
Posted on Feb 27, 2009 under best hosting | 7 CommentsI'm opening a baked goods delivery business in my town. It is a small area with only two other towns that are close that I will deliver to so first off I don't need for people to be able to search me out on the net. The other things I need are the ability to put in an order form and a view my cart area. I also want customers to have the ability to pay at the site using Paypal. I'd love to have a very low cost or no cost web hosting site that is simple to use since my needs are few. Thanks for your help in advance.

What is the best way to host a scavenger hunt?
Posted on Feb 27, 2009 under best hosting | 1 CommentI'm looking to host a large pirate themed scavenger hunt for a non-profit charity. I am in Galveston, TX and would like to expect a couple hundred families to turn out. I was thinking about giving clues to locations found around town (i.e. the historical wooden tallship here in town.) where people could collect a card to prove they were there. All would probably end digging for the final ticket (treasure) at the beach. Are there any other ideas to this? This is my first time running anything like this. Is there anything else I should know? How should I determine the winner but keep people from speeding all around town. Perhaps for every location visited and ticket collected, you get an entry into a raffle? Let me know people! I can use all the advice I can get!!!
