Have you ever encounter an problem with hostgator? missing contents or totally the website disappear..
Let me try to explain. I purchased a domain through Google Apps and chose Godaddy as the domain registration partner. Now when I did this I assumed that I would design my own web site and host them through Godaddy but it seems that Google Sites is where its designed and hosted. I still want to use all Google's services like the start page, mail, calendar etc, but I want to have a shopping site at the main url. Right now it brings up what Google Sites has designed. Is there a way to set this up so I can prefferable host through Hostgator but use all the Google services?
I would like main domain like www.site.com to be store of business. I would like to have a subdomain like employees.site.com that will be start page for Google services. Is this possible? Any questions just ask. Thanks for your help.
I would maybe still like to keep Google Sites as maybe an employee only site that can be accessed from a subdomain such as sites.site.com
I'm going to start an ecommerce store with less than 100 items, but I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with either one? They are both inexpensive and I have seen some good reviews of both, but I wanted to see what you thought.
Thank you!
I just joined godaddy to start a website and I chose to use windows servers since I run Vista on my local computer and dont know much about linux anyways. Well, I wanted to create a forum using phpbb since I heard it was the easiest and best solution for free forums and I found out that godaddy windows servers dont support php, only the linux servers do. Yeah, so are there any suggestions? ASP looks and sounds way difficult for me to do. Can I switch to godaddys linux servers even though I dont even have a linux system? Or should I just transfer my domain to a better hosting website where they have windows servers that actually support php. I really wish I knew this before I purchased it, but since Im already this far into it, I really just want to get stuff done and move on to the next step.
Thanks for any help!
my friend got a free domain on godaddy.com for his birthday and i asked him how he did it i serched the whole website and i couldent find it does anybody know how to get it my frends website it msayre.com all he has is one thing though
I am trying to add two domains to one host account with godaddy.com, im not sure if I can (can I?) and if I can, how do I do it. I am able to add sub-domains fine with no problem and I thought adding a domain so it pointed to a folder would work but I am having trouble. If anyone has any ideas I would much appreciate it.
i'm thinking about chaning to NameCheap, because its cheaper and you get more website disk space.
Also, can someone post one of their sites made with NameCheap?
How do they get their domains? Do you have to have a license or something?
