Godaddy domain management question?
Posted on Mar 27, 2009 under GoDaddy.com | 2 CommentsBasically I just started working as web developer for this new company. They have 3 sites sharing the same host on Godaddy.com.
1)My question is, since their not subdomains of the “Primary”, what exactly makes the primary a primary.
2) More importantly, if I wanted to create a seperate alias for some domain name.
What’s the difference between creating a domain within the Godaddy domain manager which points to the same directory and creating a CNAME record within some other domain which simply points to the same domain (the one we want to act as an alias for).

The primary is just the main acocunt regstered initially with godaddy. with some of the plans and it looks like the one you have you can add additional domains to the hosting space to use the available extra space in the account.
