how do i forward my recently purchased godaddy.com domain to an existing website?
Posted on May 16, 2009 under GoDaddy.com | 97 Commentsi bought a domain, logged into my godaddy account and put in all the information in "forwarding."
yet when you type in the domain name in the url box, it forwards me to a page saying "THIS DOMAIN IS PARKED FREE AT GODADDY.COM" -
how can this be? i purchased the domain.. and i put in the variables in order for my existing website to show up.

You need to go into GoDaddy and get into the "manage my domains" section. Then set your domain to point to your hosting company's DNS servers. Then get into your hosting company control panel and tell it to watch for that domain so that when it points to that DNS the DNS will know what to do with it.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, I don’t think you can measure life in terms of years. I think longevity doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with happiness. I mean happiness comes from facing challenges and going out on a limb and taking risks. If you’re not willing to take a risk for something you really care about, you might as well be dead.

My concern is with Android as a gaming platform. Yes, Angry Birds plays well – but I bought Reckless Racing on both my iPhone 4 and Nexus One specifically to test out performance and I’m sad to report that where the iPhone is fast and fluid the Nexus One is sometimes slow and choppy. I even overclocked the Nexus but I didn’t notice a big difference. This being Sony I’m sure they’ll have their own store with games specific to their hardware so hopefully it’ll be a better experience than on my Nexus One. I would still prefer a proper slide out keyboard with alternate gaming buttons (think BlackBerry number keys over the letters).
