  1. http://www.dreamhost.com i really love them… i use them and godaddy… but dreamhost also has some amazing coupons if you search with google… i got 500 terabytes for 30 bucks a year

  2. That's funny. I was about to say *NOT* DreamHost.
Just check out their own site dreamhoststatus.com and you'll see why. I just switched from them after so many outages and so many excuses from them. They think laughing it off and making fun of themselves makes up for their service.

  3. I currently use dreamhost, ez-webhosting and hostmysite. The "best" host depends on your needs.

I use ez and hostmysite for two sites where I dont need a lot of storage. I have been very happy with the service and their support/help is great. They are more expensive than dreamhost and dont give you as much storage, but the price is still good and the service is great.

dreamhost has horrible support. They dont offer "live support" like the others I mentioned and they dont respond quickly to emails. On the other hand, they give you a lot of storage at a cheaper price.

Figure out how much storage you need, server types, databases, if you need php support and how much storage you need. Then you can figure out the best way to go about it.

In order to transfer a domain, you'll need to find a new host and your current host will have to "unlock" your domain so it can be transferred. You dont want to cancel your current host before your site is up and running because the transfer can take up to 7 days to complete and during that time your site may not be accessible on the new host. I had that happen to me when I switched from one host to dreamhost. They gave me a bunch of excuses and told me it was my fault.

  11. It seems to me that this site doesn’t load on a Motorla Droid. Are other people having the same problem? I enjoy this website and don’t want to have to skip it when I’m away from my computer.
