Thanks!
Thanks for your answers thus far!
I'm pretty set on going with GoDaddy. With the package I've put together, the total is $277.81, and it's all ready to go, but I'm just a little hesitant to press the final "checkout" button!
I keep having second thoughts:
1) "will this work out?"
2) "how long before I get the site up and running?" (need to find a pro web designer)..
3) "where/how will I be able to buy wholesale, in order to sell at retail?"
4) "will I even get any business.. and how long will it take??"
Any more help for me?

Posted on May 04, 2009 under GoDaddy.com | 212 CommentsI have a homepage, and I want to link an image on my homepage, to another page that is part of the website. So for example: I am on the homepage, and I want to go to the media page, I simply click it.
I know how to link things, but do i create a sub-directory, or a new index file?

Managing files with Godaddy.com?
Posted on May 04, 2009 under GoDaddy.com | 8 CommentsThis is the first time I have used a host that isn't a free host and I'm having some trouble.
Ok, first of all I just now figured out how to use the FTP filezilla to transfer files from notepad onto my file manager. When I save it as index.html that becomes my home page but how to create other pages?

Has anyone ever used goDaddy.com to host their website?
Posted on May 04, 2009 under GoDaddy.com | 6 CommentsI have and I am just spreading the word that the user interface sux if you are trying to build from scratch. What is a good hosting site? I want to build a website for my online business and I am looking for a site that has a better user interface as well as fewer hidden fees. I am on hold with them now and it has been 4 mins for a refund…….do not use this service. You will regret it.
I want my own domain name…that is why I went with godaddy…it's just that they have these annoying templates..I just want to write my own code without it being crazy complicated. I do my own flash stuff and i want to be ablt to load it without losing its integrity or going through a long ordeal to make it what I want. I think I'll just go with yahoo……
I'm not a programmer by any means, I just have superficial knowledge about html………….I don't want to pay somebody bc I am cutting costs…if I were starting with a lot of capital, maybe, but the purpose of starting an online business is to minimize overhead. I just need functionality with professionalism.
