I'd go with GoDaddy.com. This is an American company and they have some of the best customer service in the domain world. The domains are under $10. You won't get them for much cheaper.

  3. The cheapest website to purchase a Domain is Webstarts.

You can sign up for your own FREE ACCOUNT with Webstarts by visiting this link: http://WebStarts.com?aff=wlear.

There are NO advertisments on your Basic Free website besides Webstarts on the bottom of the page (barely noticeable). But, if you want to upgrade to Webstarts Pro at any time, you can. For a mere $3.94 a month ($48 per year) you can go Pro and get your very own Domain name, 50 emails, 1000 MB / 25 GB space, unlimited pages, free search engine submittal, a $25 gift and much, much more. No other web-building/hosting site offers all of this! Check it out. I'm sure you'll be glad you did.

I currently have my home-based business is on that site as well as two personal homepage sites. And I don't pay a cent! This site is the easiest (and cheapest) way to publish your very own website. You can visit my business site at: http://www.webstarts.com/uniquedvds if you'd like to see what I have done without any knowledge of HTML coding… and for FREE!

And, by the way… my business is booming because of my website. I couldn't be happier!

Microsoft has cheap domain registering/hosting available with their Office Live Small Business service. You can lock down an available .com url for $15/year, which gives you access to plenty of storage and customizable email addresses. There are several other features including online storage/collaboration capabilities and access to apps like shopping carts and the ability to embed videos.
