Posted on Jul 14, 2009 under GoDaddy.com | Does anyone know what this means? I found this on the godaddy site. I’m wondering how many visitors on my site I can have at once, I found this article but I’m a bit confused. Does connections mean vistors/users? I have the economy plan shared hosting. The reason I’m asking this is because I’ve been getting some memory errors on my site so I’m wondering if its because godaddy only allows a certain amount of visitors online at once.
Here it is:
Our shared hosting accounts limit the maximum number of connections at one time.
Linux limits:
* Linux Economy: 50 connections
* Linux Deluxe: 100 connections
* Linux Premium: 200 connections
Windows limits:
* Windows Economy: 50 connections
* Windows Deluxe: 100 connections
* Windows Premium: 150 connections
We allow up to 50 simultaneous MYSQL Database connections per MySQL user.
We allow up to 100 simultaneous MS SQL Database connections per MS SQL user.
An explanation for what this means would be helpful, thanks!
Answering your question.. I expect at least 500+ visitors someday. Right now I currently get about 50 – 100 visitors online at once. Though I’m getting connection errors now, godaddy support is no help.
Posted on Jul 14, 2009 under GoDaddy.com | I want this to go smoothly and I can already tell I am not going to get much cooperation from Namesecure.com
What are the precise steps in order I need to do. Please be very detailed and you can explain it like I have never done this before, because I haven’t.
Thank you,
Joe
Posted on Jul 14, 2009 under GoDaddy.com | For those of you who use GoDaddy.com, what’s up with that Legal Agreement? I keep seeing stuff about notifying them when you make changes. What changes are they talking about?
From GoDaddy.com:
"You agree to maintain accurate information by providing updates to Go Daddy, as needed, while You are using Go Daddy ’s Services. You agree You will notify Go Daddy within five (5) business days when any change of the information You provided as part of the application and/or registration process changes. Failure by You, for whatever reason, to respond within five (5) business days to any inquiries made by Go Daddy to determine the validity of information provided by You will constitute a material breach of this Agreement."

Posted on Jul 14, 2009 under GoDaddy.com | I have a small web design business, and I do not want to spend thousands of dollars buying and running my own dedicated servers so can I purchase my clients’ domain names and host their website through Godaddy? Is this bad business practice? Is this legal? Please let me know what you think.
Posted on Jul 14, 2009 under GoDaddy.com | I want to switch my domain (which I only use for email) from GoDaddy to Google Domains (Google Apps).
How do I switch this over without just redirecting stuff from GoDaddy TO Google?
Posted on Jul 14, 2009 under Bluehost.com | We have the database done, but we don’t understand the site builder thing, and all the other things that we’re missing to publish our website. Please help!!
Posted on Jul 14, 2009 under Bluehost.com | I want to build my website from scratch, as in write out all the coding (CSS and HTML) for it. I used to use Freewebs, and they had a page-editor that allowed you to type and upload all of your coding for your site.
Does Bluehost have a simliar feature? I checked their features list and demo, but all I found was a template builder.
