Hey, im not too familiar with that host, but I know that 1and1.com is one of the most reliable hosts I have ever used. As well, webhostingpad is fairly reliable as well.

As you may know a domain name is just a name, not a real website. If you are going to create your website: 1- Buy a domain name. A domain name is a name you want to call your website. To get a domain name, you have to pay an annual fee to a registrar for the right to use that name. 2- Buy a web hosting service to provide your online space and enable you to get your website online at your purchased domain name.
If you want to start your website I recommend purchase your domain and hosting together. In this way it is possible to get your domain for free. Some hosting services offer this gift today.

Yeah, Hostgator is one of the best! They are currently hosting almost 2 million websites. They even have a coupon code which you can use to save some money. For more info and some other hosts check: http://www.webhostingtable.com/

I believe you made the right choice, as there is a lot available to help you with whatever you may need to do. Their cPanel is very easy to navigate, and they even offer free software to build sites with! Also, the unlimited disk space and bandwidth is pretty sweet.
Honestly though, the best part is that their customer service is always there 24/7/365. The company is still relatively new, but they are constantly growing.
If you change your mind within the first 45 days, you can always cancel, and they’ll refund your money, but there really is no reason why you’d want to cancel. That’s just my opinion.
