There are a bunch of coupons for GoDaddy that will bring the price down. They are basically the cheapest domain that you will get through a real registrar.

Godaddy is the worlds biggest domain registrar.
The price of a .com domain is usually $9.99 but you can get it for $7.49 if you use the link at the bottom of this page http://www.hosttell.com
P.S. If you want to create a website you also have to buy web hosting.
