Well, when you buy a domain from them like a .com address, you get free hosing. You then get a MySQL database, 10gb or data, and i believe 100gb of bandwith. You can then use Wordpress in your site.
It is very easy i belive
godaddy.com is a server, not a site building engine
you make your site with a piece of software, like adobe dreamweaver, and then upload your site to your server, which in your case will be a godaddy.com server
nope, not really, if you’re new to these stuff, you can start with the free templates provided by your hosting company, if they don’t have, there are a lot of cheep / free templates with hosting elsewhere
I’d suggest using something like http://wordpress.com/ rather than trying to futz with GoDaddy’s paid services. Don’t get me wrong. I use GoDaddy for hosting, but you can put together some great stuff using WordPress for free.
Well there’s this free webmaster forum that I go to that offers free webhosting and the will help you out and teach you how to build, market and maintain your websites. You can check it out at http://www.quotaless.com. Check them out they are very accommodating.
Try Blink Web or Wix, their easy to manage free website (or blog) has cool features that include drag and drop capability, switch designs on the fly, youtube and google video, custom html, upload images, flikr photo gallery, visitor stats and more. You can also buy a new domain instantly, or host your existing domain for free and make it your own (www.yourown.com)
If your looking for something more advanced but still user friendly then try XsitePro, Sitebuilder Designs or Calvary Studios, they have everything you need in building your own website: domain name registration or domain transfer, web hosting, web builder, site maintenance and email accounts. Everything is laid out in an easy to follow step by step instruction. Some of the features included enable you to add your own themes, videos, images or mp3 music making your site unique to you. Pricing is comparable and affordable too.
I hope that I was of some help and answered your question.
