Why is GoDaddy charging me for automatic renewal?

And I just checked my bank account and sure enough there it is….$9.99 gone to GoDaddy. So I logged into my GoDaddy account and it shows as far as I can see that I am NOT set up for automatic renewal. So why are they charging me $9.99??

Why are you asking us?
The only people who know for sure, and can get it all sorted out is GoDaddy.
Ask them, not us.

Are you absolutely sure you have set it not to auto-renew, I would double check. Once you buy a domain or something, they set it up to auto-renew and use your old finance details for your convinience to save you time and effort and more importantly to prevent your domain getting sold to someone else.
I would contact there support if you are absolutely sure that you have selected to not auto-renew. There support is very good though.
