Hey

I have my own domain and I need to find a cheap web hosting. My budget is less than $20 pre year.Is it possible?
By cheap, I mean it’s gotta be under $15/year. I don’t need that much storage or bandwidth. It must have NO LIMITATIONS with respect to what you can upload - I shoot little videos sometimes and I’d like to upload them (They are nothing illegal or sketchy, just of my cat or whatever, lol). I also want to be able to upload mp3 files of me singing or talking or whatever - nothing I don’t own the copyright to. I also want full .htaccess control and I have to be able to hotlink my own files. No file-type restrictions and it must have FTP.
I am sick of going from host to host and finding nothing good. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations. Thanks in advance.
I’ve been with a FREE host for 2 years who have 99% uptime.
I have never seen my website down.
It’s been 2 years. I think I should just stick with them.
Im looking for a very low-end server hosting package, preferably UK based that supports Ruby server scripting.
Im struggling finding any hosting that supports ruby. Does anyone know any?
just to clarify - yes, I know the internet is international. Im not an idiot! The customers I am aiming at are UK based and to save transfer times of documents I would prefere a UK based server. Also with exchange rates out there, I wouldnt want to have to pay more over time. But thanks!
I have a domain name so would need to transfer that, my web hosting account at the mo is with host Papa, but they want £60 a year and I’m shopping around for less, any ideas? I build my website at home with dreamweaver so must be compatible with that.
Dont answer unless its a real web company for less than £60 per year please, ta x
thanks if anyone knows please help.
