who should I go with for cheap webhosting? BlueHost or HostMonster?

Posted on Sep 17, 2009 under Bluehost.com | 7 Comments

I’m on a budget these days, just like everyone else, and I was wondering, who should I go with for web-hosting? I’ve been recommended both BlueHost and HostMonster, but I don’t know who I should go with to be quiet honest. could I get some pros and cons about both of them so I can be better informed to make my decision. thank you for your time.

  1. I suggest you this website http://www.tenhostingreviews.com where you can find a list of hosting companies with the best features, support and pricing. You can get everything you need and it’s very easy. For what you are asking, i recommend you the option 1,2 or 5 Hope this could help you.

  2. Personally I use BlueHost and they have been great. The only downtime I have ever experienced was only like an hour at midnight once. I’ve been with them for almost a year. They have unlimited bandwidth and disk space usage(thats a good thing). The cpanel is the greatest thing ever. Tons of options and there is also a lot of website design options. On my plan you can have up to one hundred domain names. The first domain name is free then it’s ten dollars after. So far whenever I have needed to contact them it’s been really easy. I think they’re open 24/7 and have live chat, which is what I have used.

As for Host Monster I can’t give you a personal experience recommendation but from what I have read they are a pretty solid host as well. There are also a lot better options like JustHost. A website I like to use for reference is called http://www.hosthelper.net/. They have some pretty solid reviews on what they consider the top ten web hosts out there.

Here is the BlueHost Review Link: http://www.hosthelper.net/?p=32
Here is the HostMonster Review Link: http://www.hosthelper.net/?p=24

I love when people want to start new websites and finding a good host is important. I hope this helps!

  3. Those two you just stated ( BlueHost & Hosmonster) aren’t good at all mate.
How about I help you choose a better web host.

Well , there is hostgator , google host yahoo and godaddy.
But the most recommended and best web host so far is http://www.NetworkJuiceHosting.com ; Network Juice.

They now offer plans starting around $0.99/mo for a great amount of diskspace plus everything else unlimited. Plus they’ve manage to keep up 99% Uptime.

They have all features such as PHP5, java ,Cpanel , Fantastico ( allows you to auto install Blogging systems and CMS portals without wasting time) , Cron Job , Apache ,Unlimited Dadabase , ftp accounts and much more. Basically EVERYTHING! is supported.

There are other affordable plans as well in NetworkJuiceHosting.com.

Hostgator.com is also a great host , but there Uptime time is not so good. Also , customer service is very poor , Not to many features are supported.

Google.com not so sure , But i know there’s lots of files they do not support , no Cpanel , and i don’t know how come , but they have been receiving downtimes lately in their host servers.

yahoo , let me just say it’s the worst web host ever ,you can’t even host the amount of domains you want to host . Including FatCow.com. The downtime is way to much , and many files are un-compatible in fatcow for some reason.

To buy a domain , the most recommended site is godaddy , but not for it’s hosting!! I Tell you !!!.

For a Great Affordable web host with maximum features , the most recommended web host is http://www.NetworkJuiceHosting.com . ; Network Juice Hosting.

You are getting your answers from an expert , and yes I have tried all these web host.

That’s all I got to say mate ;)

  4. Bluehost and HostMonster are run by same company…

but Bluehost offers hosting for $3.95 per month

    - Lots of features
    - PHP, Fantastico, Wordpress, etc…
    - great flexibility
    - just reached the 1 million domain name mark

    My vote is for Bluehost

  5. Definitely Bluehost and did you guys see their deal page? I managed to save a fair bit signing up through there.
