Hello,

  1. They should’ve given it to you in your Welcome letter. It’ll be different for each customer, so I can’t give you one! I have my own, and I have four clients, so each is different. It’ll be an IP address instead of a name like a lot of hosts have – no problem, just use that in your domain registrar’s control panel in the same spots.

(Your IP address is what you use for your domain registrar’s control panel. Then http://youripaddress/cpanel gets you to your hostgator control panel and ftp://youripaddress gets you to a place where you can upload your files, or you can use youripaddress in something like Filezilla or FireFTP to upload files. Okay?)
