Ideally the place would let me bring in my own alcohol, but I understand that there is a 99.9% chance that won’t happen. I need a place that is above a dive bar, but doesn’t need to be super fancy. Relatively cost effective as I’m probably going to be working with about $1300 and will probably have around 75 guests. If you have any additional thoughts or info I’d appreciate it.
Let me refine what I’m looking for. I’m not hosting a dinner, more of cocktail party type atmosphere. Looking for clubs, lounges, or bars if you know any and have hosted or been to a hosted party there.

It’s basically a formal event, indoors, with lights around and a lunch event. what kind of make up should i use? i want to look bright and fresh, but i dont want to look theathrical either. I’m 21 years old. i’m aware of the fact that with so many lights, one can appear washed out and pale, or either like some stage actor with thick make up on.

I’ve had it hosted on Xanga since I was 13, and now I feel like I need to move to a more mature and respected hosting site. I am hoping to find a place where there are bloggers with similar writings, and also a place where my blog might be read by an audience larger than my circle of friends. Any recommendations?

I am planning to go back to Thailand (My home). Last year, I promised my host that I will take her and her son to Thailand with me. They really want to travel there. This year things are little differences–I have been working part-time in the past 6 months. I have been unemployed for a month now. I only have $5000 in my bank account. It will be gone if I buy 3 plane tickets to Thailand. I wish I could save those money because the world economy are rough and just in case I don’t find a good job right away. My parents claim they will support me when I am in Thailand. We need to take my host family here if they want to come becasue they have been taking good care of me for many years. I know my parents are generous, but I just don’t want to ask them for money for rents and food again. I want to secure my last $5000. Please help.
Will my host family understand me? Will they angry? How do I tell them?

Posted on Oct 09, 2009 under best hosting | I have a very basic online shop, and it’s gotten a little bit bigger and I’ve realized I have to move it to a different platform. I know basic html, but that’s about it. I want to redesign the website and include some sort of ecommerce software. Certain hosting options (i.e. Hostmonster) seem to have great deals, but their control panel is so confusing. I can’t seem to find my way around. Can anyone suggest a good hosting option and ecommerce software for beginners?
