    For a while, I used http://esmartstart.com/ because for free you get FTP and a subdomain. However, there’s a small ad; I have yet to find a good one without.

    there are free web hosting, free file hosting, free image hosting. so if you need to host any types of file then you need to combine those free services. find free one that would not put forces ads on your free site. for free web hosting you can check my profile. i host my sites with a free web host. but their limit files size upload is 500kb. so media type files are a no no. so you need to
    put your media or big image files at a free image hosting such as photobucket. hope that helps.
