How is HostMonster with wordpress?
Posted on Nov 11, 2009 under hostmonster.com |Is it recommended to register a domain and buy hosting from two different companies??
Does a domain name registration from a good company like godaddy make any difference, or all are same??
I have also heard that one should register domain for at least 5 years for its reliability…is it true? What would happen if one register a domain for 1 year while next year the registrar company raises its price?

I suggest you this website http://www.tenhostingreviews.com where you can find a list of hosting companies with the best features, support and pricing. You can get everything you need and it’s very easy. For what you are asking, i recommend you the option 1or 2 Hope this could help you.

It doesn’t make any difference where you register your domain name.
Most hosting companies (like Hostmonster) offer a free domain name registration when you get hosting from them.
You don’t have to register a domain name for 5 years upfront. That’s completely unnecessary, and it doesn’t have anything to do with reliability. Just make sure that you don’t forget to renew your domain name registration on time (before the first year is up) but you’ll get plenty of email reminders and if you got a domain name through your web host they’ll probably do it for you automatically.
P.S. For hosting I recommend one of these: http://www.webhostingtable.com
Fatcow has the best offer right now.
Their standard price is $88/year
but they have the 50% sale at the moment.
Disk space: Unlimited
Bandwidth: Unlimited
A Free domain name
Unlimited domains and subdomains
Price: $44/year
They’re one of the oldest hosting companies, founded 1998, they’re also one of the largest, currently hosting about 500,000 websites.
Their hosting plan includes a web builder, so you can create your site just by drag and drop (without any programming), or you could install Wordpress (easy, one click install from their control panel), choose a theme that you like, and start adding content.

You should always purchase domain name and hosting from separate companies. As far as time registration, I’ve never noticed anything.
Beware of companies that offer "unlimited" space and bandwidth. There is no such thing, and register your own domain name.
