how would I create a suicide awareness website through GoDaddy.com?
Posted on Nov 18, 2009 under GoDaddy.com |I want to create a website for suicide prevention for my husbands bestfriend who just commited suicide I am not quite sure how to go about this I want to make this website not only for suicide awareness with links to the major suicide prevention websites to donate in my husbands friends name I want it to be a memorial for his friend I just dont know how to go about doing this and I looked into GoDaddy and people say its pretty easy but to me it looks very confusing. So if anyone could help me please give me some info? I already missed the suicide walk in chicago which is tomorrow and we really want to do something to make sure he is not forgotten and to raise awareness for depression and suicide prevention.

I am sorry to hear that, umm it will all cost you money but prob only 10 dollars a month to keep the site up. What you would want to do is register a domain name with them, then they will give you the option to buy a Web Site Tonight package, that is one easy way to do that.
But The best way we have found is with Hostgator.com, they will give you a domain name and a web site builder for lower than 5 dollars a month, and the site builder we have used and tried and it is very easy to use! For donations, you will need a secure site and a security certificate. You can set up a basic PayPal account and use PayPal’s site for the donations.
I would NOT go with GoDaddy. InMotion, StartLogic or any similar host.
