How much do GoDaddy Sales and Technical Support reps make salary plus commission? What’s the job like?

They say the average rep. makes $42,000-$45,000 salary plus commission in the first year with some making over $60,000, wondering if this is realistic. Appreciate any feedback about the job.

@ Newman I know what your mean. In todays economy its tough to find a company to work for that pays good enough to live on and is stable . I have discovered that if you just work hard and are consistent you can succeed. Look at the writer of this article, they are clearly a hard worker and have just been consistent over time and are now enjoying at least what would appear as somewhat of a success. I would encourage everyone to just keep hustling and moving forward.

Great points…I would note that as someone who really doesn’t write on blogs much (in fact, this may be my first post), I don’t think the term “lurker” is very becoming to a non-posting reader. It’s not your fault really , but perhaps the blogosphere could come up with a better, non-creepy name for the 90% of us that enjoy just reading the content .
