———————————FTP Solution—————
Godaddy’s file upload section is not so versatile for huge upload. There is nothing wrong with godaddy, most of hosting service providers are same, like Dreamhost, Hostmonster…
Please download the following software, called Filezilla. It is free FTP solution. And there are many others like that out there.
But I prefer to use this one. It has many good features. Use your godaddy FTP Username password see the listing of current directories.
http://filezilla-project.org/download.php
And make sure, your main home page file named as index.php or index.html…or whatever it may be. It should be named "index". And you are good to go from that. This file will replace that blue-white default home page.
———————————From Godday———
Login into Godday > Go to Hosting > My Hosting Account > Manage Account > Your Files
This will open "File Manager".
You will see all the different folder-like-buttons there, to upload, to move, to copy and more…
———————————From Dreamweaver———–
Dreamweaver is not a pure FTP solution for site uploading purpose. But its good to know how that part works in here.
Go to Site Menu > Manage Site
Set your remote Info section with
Access Menu > select FTP
Enter your FTP Host, Host Directory, Login, Password and test your connection. (This part is very slow sometime while doing from Dreamweaver)
After this, On right hand side in File Panel (With File, Asset, Snippet),
Go to File >Click the left mosr icon, "Connect to remote host", you will see the icon changed to two connected diagonal bar.
Now click on right most icon "Expand to show local and remote sites",
you will see all the file at once, files on your computer and sites on your remote server on the other side.
You can drag and drop file from local host to remote host. (This part is again, very slow while done via dreamweaver)

You will have not intended to do so, but I think you’ve managed to express the state of mind that quite a lot of people are in. The sense of wanting to help, but not knowing how or exactly where, is one thing a lot of us are going via.
