Ok just like an hour ago i bought a domain from godaddy. I have a server running apache. Well as of now apache is not working with my domain i bought. I entered the information and yet still not working. I signed up for Dns to. Please help. If you can list steps on how to get it running or started. And i have all my pages i created made already

I am on Godaddy.com.
I purchased a domain name for 1 year.
& I purchased Hosting for 3 month.
What happens after 3 month is over? Does my site not get hosting anymore? Also, I noticed my Domain name ends on 6/16/2010 (I bought 1 year), what happens after 1 year? Does my domain name disappear too? What should I do to keep it? I need it for as long as 10 years, I am a graphic designer, I need it for showcasing my portfolio.

A few days ago I registered at www.justfree.com to make my own website. I registered my domain, added the name servers, and did everything i thought I would have to do for my domain to transfer over… Yet when i try to go to my website i only get a white page that says:
Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /.
Reason: DNS lookup failure for: (website)

Or, if they are all the same price, which one would you suggest?
Should I use the cheapest hosting plan or go for costlier one?
my domain name was registered with yahoo
now i transferred it to godaddy and canceled the registration with yahoo !!
Godaddy says :
Accept/Decline
The transfer is waiting for the customer to accept it at the losing registrar company (yahoo).
the problem that i already cancel my domain registration at yahoo .
1) now i can’t enter my domain Control panel to accept or decline anything
2) there is no email sent to my email address to accept domain transfer or something like that .
3) and when i try to contact the yahoo support team they say :
Sorry!
We offer phone and email support only to Small Business customers, and our records don’t show any Small Business products associated with your Yahoo! ID.
( thats because i already canceled the domain registration )

this is really bad , i couldn’t find the solution of my problem at yahoo FAQ , and they didn’t accept to contact me because i am not their customer anymore !!!

My domain is hosted on GoDaddy. I have a PHP script that I need to test that tests the validity of domains based on the input in a $_POST field. Is it possible to set my GoDaddy domain to simulate the domain being offline?
I think I can do tumblr and blogspot for free, but it seems like it wants me to buy additionaly monthly hosting services for WP.
Can someone walk me through this?
