Am I correct on how to add pages on a GoDaddy site with HTML?

Posted on Jan 19, 2010 under GoDaddy.com |

From what I understand, to get a main page on a Go Daddy site you upload a page called index.html with an FTP server to your site, and to add other pages you upload other HTML pages you make with HTML and upload them. (example- if you have an HTML page called "information.html," you would upload it with an FTP server to your site and to access the page you would go to sitename.com/information).

  1. You would access it with: (http://) sitename.com/information.html (remove parentheses and space) .

All pages you upload via FTP should maintain the same directory structure you are using on your hard drive. This helps to check that your nav menu to other pages work after uploading.

I do suggest that you make a separate image folder and to put a nav menu on every page you make.
