godaddy domain help!?
Posted on Jan 19, 2010 under GoDaddy.com | 13 Commentsok as of right now i have my domain up using the free hosting service from godaddy. when i type my domain in the address box exampledomain.com it will work. but when i try to type in www.exampledomain.com it wont. I’m using a out of site dns. Its zoneedit.com. If you no why it wont work please help.

type your domain name in the box it will tell you if it is working for someone else. If it isn’t working for others then use godaddy’s DNS services if it still doesn’t work then you will need to wait for awhile for the DNS server to resolve your domain name. If it doesn’t work after awhile then call godaddy.

I don’t know how zoneedit is set up, but I imagine they have prefixes that you can set up with it. You may have to create a prefix for www and set it to forward to the address that godaddy provided.
