Hostgator with unlimited domains?

Their "baby" host only costs like $7.99 a month.. can you really host as many domain names and websites for just $7.99 a month? Does that mean I can have www.carsforsale.com, www.housesforsale.com, www.dogsforsale.com, www.catsforsale.com etc etc all for $7.99? With as much pages on each site as I wanted? Again sounds too good to be true? Is it? Thanks.

Yeah, you can…if you own all those domain names already.

Usually when companies boast that they can offer "Unlimited" space, domains, etc. it’s not true. To be sure you’re not being ripped off, read the Terms of Service. Somewhere in the fine print, it should say the limitations.

Unlimited domain hosting means that you can host all of those domain names, but you still have to register them and that costs about $10/domain/year. You can register them either through your host or through a 3rd party domain name registrar.
The advantage of the unlimited domain hosting is that you can create multiple websites on the same hosting account and you don’t have to buy separate hosting accounts for each website you want to build.
