I signed up for hosting service on HostGator, but didn’t get email containing login info. Is it a scam?

I contact them four times now, and I registered my domain at GoDaddy.com, and I registered another domain at hostgator. Still, no email containing login information. Do you think it’s a scam and do you think I should file a chargeback on my creditcard for refusing to let me use their service?

No, Host Gator is real. Host Gator is a discount web hosting company out of Texas.
I once signed up for their service only to realize that they had grossly misrepresented what the terms
of my use could be, and so I told them I wanted a refund under their 60 Day money back guarantee (the next day) and it took THREE calls over 30 days until they actaully put the refund through, and then I waited 20 more days from that.
Funny story, it ended up working good I that money came back from Host Gator right around X mas and I used it to buy gifts !

it’s legit. They aren’t that great, but they are way better then Yahoo could ever hope to be.
