I want to create an online shop with different pages for different catagories and some will have sub-catagories. Some may even have sub-sub-catagories! Each page will have a few products on it. I want to include images for each products. I would like the shipping costs to be calculated by the weight of the order. I want to be able to add my own branding and colour scheme to the site.
Any thoughts are welcome!

Posted on May 17, 2011 under Bluehost.com | I have a blog hosted on BlueHost. When viewed from an Ipad the site has totally different format and also has advertisements. When viewed from a PC or Mac, it remains the way I designed it and does not have any ads.

I am trying to make a website(s) with bluehost.Before i do and pay for it i need to know:
1.When i register i choose some domain name,what is that in this case?Is it the name of my website or just a directory other sites will go under?
2.If i decide to make wordpress site for example mygamingsite.com do i pay extra for that .com or what???
3.Do i have to pay wordpress to?
4.Can i make more than one or unlimited sites like the example above?

I’m finding so many things on the cpanel but it seems that most of the things they show are just links to other places where i have to spend more money! Am I actually able to make a website with bluehost itself? Don’t they provide a sitebuilder with the package? I’m trying to make a small time buisness website so i need to know if bluehost is actually able to make at least 4 pages for a website……..

I know enough about Wordpress to utilize design functions, etc but I’m curious: If I design a site and host with Bluehost, how much traffic could my site get before it slows down or crashes? Is that possible? If so, if I plan on creating a site for an organization that 100,000+ people will be using (maybe not all at once), what sort of CMS or hosting site should I look into? Help? Advice? Suggestions? Please and thank you much.

Another quick question: If I find that the site can’t handle the traffic, should I switch hosts? switch CMS? look into dedicated servers? eek. I’m new at all of this but genuinely want to understand it all so try to bear with me please. (I also just found LoadImpact.com and I’m hoping that might give me a decent gauge.)

I’m starting to believe that bluehost is a shady hosting site. wordpress has their comments turned off. No way of contacting them! The forums gag. People are asking them how to change the home page and nobody can answer it!?! They don’t have a clue! Everytime I look for a review I get wordpress reviews. How is a company going to review it’s self? Where are the reviews?

Just I want to access my MySQL database remotely without login in to Bluehost account.
Currently I login to my bluehost cPanel account and access the database through phpMyAdmin.
Is there any other free software to connect my database without login to bluehost?
I have installed HeidiSQL , Toad for MySQL 5.0 Freeware. But I tried to connect but it is not working showing unable to connect error.
