I have the tools to build a web page for my business but I lack the know how as to get it up and going.
Godaddy's website tonight seems to prevent me from uploading straight html, and its templates are extremely inflexible, is there a way to bipass their web builder and just upload html?
Why is GoDaddy's SSL only $19.99 a year for 256 bit encryption and Verisign is in the hundreds of dollars for 128bit encryption? What is the difference between the two?
I can deal with setting up the ebay aucion part because I'm an established ebay seller but don't understand a) how you transfer the domain name to someone else {and look like I know what I'm doing at the same time!!!} b) how can I prove to the buyer that it is mine before he is willing to hand over the cash.
Cheers tech wizards!
I am planning on putting my company online. Go Daddy is very inexpensive but I am curious if they are a reputable company. I am not great with computers, and will likely need to use their consumer service.
how do you get email through outlook with this? I have read about everything godaddy.com has to offer but it doesn't help! With my old computer I had my emails coming through godaddy.com (actually my godaddy website email) and then to my local isp to my inbox. I purchased a new computer and I can't get it to work with the new one (worked with the old computer), all the settings look the same to me (as the old). Am I making sense here? Got any good websites?Any help is greatly appreciated thanks!
thanks borat,. I always like to use customer service as a last resort because it is so painfully frustrating, but I did as you said and called, so hopefully everything will work now, thanks again.
