Posted on Jan 04, 2010 under GoDaddy.com | OK – I have a *very* basic e-mail php script which *always fails*. The weird thing is that the mail() function appears to be working – it returns an error. However, it *always* returns an error – and I see no reason for it to do so.
My server: GoDaddy (Windows Server)
Below is the script. Please tell me: why won’t this work? (GoDaddy support refuses to answer.)

Added note for experts: have attempted to use PHPMailer instead without success (it fails to run the very first line of PHP script).

Posted on Jan 04, 2010 under GoDaddy.com | I tried to just upload the index.html as a file and it won’t let me. It only lets you do images (like .jpg files). I also tried to pick the most simple template and enter in my code in the one of the spots and delete the other areas, but it won’t do that either. HELP!
BTW – I have a free website tonight account. I wonder if that makes a difference.
Posted on Jan 04, 2010 under GoDaddy.com | Ok – the HTML code is already written (right now it is just in a word doc). In the code, I have all images linked to my images in photobucket. It works! I used a free online HTML preview site to check it and it is working properly! Now how to I get this HTML on the domain that I just purchased?? Do I have to use Web Tonight? Looks like there is a charge for that. Can someone help me? I would like to get this site up today!!!

Posted on Dec 29, 2009 under GoDaddy.com | I just bought web hosting, and a domain name from go daddy for like 60$, but I don’t know how to upload my files, or upload my MySQL databases. I’m not even sure I can connect to it since it just shows a page with ads and stuff.

I bought the hosting plan which came with 10 MySQL databases, and 10 GB storage. I already made a website on my computer and it only uses 1 MySQL database, and is approximately 23MB.
I do know what FTP is, I know all of that. I just dont know how to connect to go daddys ftp servers, and how to edit the MySQL databases

I don’t even know what to do. I made another page movies.html which I want to link to the index page but I don’t know how to do that. Will someone please explain it to me step by step instead of referring my to godaddy.com’s tutorials, which are a pain.
