Posted on Jun 07, 2010 under hostgator.com | Do I have to transfer my primary domain from GoDaddy.com to Hostgator which cost me $15.00?
Posted on Jun 07, 2010 under hostgator.com | I have three Wordpress sites and want to host them, but there are mixed reviews about various companies. I’ve zeroed down to two – Justhost and Hostgator. Money is a factor, but not sacrifizing the uptime. The Uptime and unlimited (space, domain and email) are two most important factors. Which one is better- justhost or hostgator. Please advice with an example of your sites.

Posted on Jun 03, 2010 under hostgator.com | I have contacted HostGator six times about this. It’s been five days after I signed up for hosting service place for $12.00 a month, and now, I have not gotten any email containing my login information. They said they would email me again time and time again, and I checked everywhere and didn’t get it. I’m about to file a chargeback on my credit card to get $12.00 credited back to my account.
Which hosting service will work for me? Please help. I signed up for GoDaddy.com for my domain name and I signed up at HostGator and typed in the domain name I owned from GoDaddy.com. But I got no email, never login, etc.. Is HostGator a rip off?
Posted on Jun 03, 2010 under hostgator.com | I waited for two days. I contact them about it, and they told me they was going to email me the login information. I contact them four times now, and I registered my domain at GoDaddy.com, and I registered another domain at hostgator. Still, no email containing login information. Do you think it’s a scam and do you think I should file a chargeback on my creditcard for refusing to let me use their service?
Posted on May 21, 2010 under hostgator.com | I have been using for over 5 years. I have over 100 domains that I have assigned this IP address to when setting up the name servers. Well this morning I noticed a website being indexed by Google and that site is showing the names servers that I registered which have the IP addresses assign to them. Something said to me try to go to the URL of the name server and see what happens… well to my surprise another company shows up using my DNS. I checked my files on the server thinking someone may have hacked into my account. but the subdomain ns2 does not exsist. now I am confused because the who is registry says the name server is assigned to me. I called the Hosting company and explained what I found there first react was Wow thats odd. Then after about 5 minutes of investing the tech support came back to me and said… Those IP addresses were sold to another company, without any warning to me or even a letter. No phone Call, No email nothing. So I asked why and their response was you don’t own the IP addresses. I said I am not claiming to own the IP address I was only using what Host Gator assigned to me. At the least I think they could have told me to move my sites or cancel my account before the sale was complete. This way I could notify my clients. Some of my clients spend thousands of dollars a month in advertising. This is a major mess. Warning if you own a website and a domain name but do not own the IP addresses you could wake up one morning and you website could be pointing to a Porn site.
Is this fair or Legal without notice?
I wonder what would happen if I create a sub-domain under that domain as ns2 and put a page there, what would dominate the IP or the Domain Name?
