I am seeking advice from people with experience please…

I want to build a website for our business.I have been researching for about two months and I have three months left to research and learn what I need to know to get our site up and running.

From I have learned a domain name is basically what we decide to name our website, correct? and subdomains are in simple terms branches off the domain such as forums and so forth….

I dont want to mess with the html and so forth so I am opting for one of those sites that makes it easy for me to build the website….

The business is a variety store that caters to mostly tourist and a retirement community…
offering anything from antiques to everyday items such as second hand appliances and furniture now we will be running it as a antique and variety center
We have plenty of ideas…but that is the basics…

We will offer seasonal outdoor sales; sort of like yard sales and swap meets and so forth during the warmer months. At this time, I will not be selling merchandise from the website but I might want to in the future

I have did some research and i think that hostgator business plan is going to be the best option and it seems most cost effective and offers the control panel option…….this option seems to be beginner friendly, which i will need, but i do not like any of the templates that i have seen through the sitebuilder in the control panel demo which is located on the first webpage of hostgator. I am wondering if i do find one that I like will i have to pay additional money to use a template from out of the control panel?

Also, the site isn’t so user friendly that it explains all of this to in detail so i must ask others. I want to take photos of the front of our store and some of the merchandise that we will have on display so my question…….is that process just as simple as uploading photos to ebay, photobucket or facebook? which btw, is one of the things i do have knowledge with:)

Also, I want to offer advertisement for our vendors what should I look within the hostgator website to determine how many photos I can upload and how often I can upload photos to my website?

One last thing….Should I expect to see hidden fee’s on my monthly invoice from hostgator? I am on a budget for this project so I wouldn’t want that to be a problem.

Bandcamp, Hostgator, and a subdomain?

I’m trying to link my bandcamp account with my subdomain. The instructions in the bandcamp faq don’t really apply or they make no sense to me… can someone give me a step by step using Cpanel?
