Posted on Aug 31, 2011 under free hosting | So the thing is, that I got a new computer, one of the main reasons that I got it was so that I could host and play Minecraft or do other stuff while I’m hosting (the new computer has 8 GB of RAM). Yet, on my last computer (it had 4GB of RAM) when I would host and play other games or play Minecraft there wouldn’t really be a lag issue. With this new computer when I do other stuff everyone has MASSIVE lag, a lot more then when I had my old computer. So I was wondering two things. 1) Is there anything I can do to make it not lag? 2) If not, what laptop would be the cheapest, but could still run a Minecraft server lag free?

Posted on Aug 31, 2011 under free hosting | Well, I am about ready to open up an ecommerce site(after rough testing through WAMP) and I am looking for the best website hosting as well as cheapest for an ecommerce site. The site is for a small company(or rather a new one) and they asked me to find a good webhosting for them. I’ve tried Dreamhost before but I’ve had bad experiences with them, like downtime very often and also terrible tech support(seriously I sended like 20 support tickets before they answered me.)
So any suggestions will be greatly appreciated =]

Posted on Aug 31, 2011 under free hosting | I’m a design major in college looking to set up a website to show my work to potential employers for an internship next summer. I’ve learned how to make websites, but unfortunately my classes never taught me how to go about getting one hosted. I am not interested in template sites like wix.com. I’m coding my site from scratch.
Posted on Aug 31, 2011 under free hosting | Would you know a place that could host 100 people indoors and is affordable in south san jose?
Posted on Aug 31, 2011 under free hosting | The three main things I am looking for are searchability on Google and other search engines, my own domain name, and ease of creation. Free is ideal, but if such a site does not exist, a cheap service would also be acceptable. Thank you!
