But I’m not sure where to begin. I want something cheap yet will be effective. I was thinking of trying HostGator.
For the forum, I have no idea where to begin with that. I’d like a forum where there were games and stuff. I know there’s free ones, but with games? And a forum where I could put MY ads on there. I know the free forums like proboards have THEIR ads on there, and I wouldn’t want that. I understand if I have to pay monthly for that too. Awhile back I know vB was good but I don’t know where to pay monthly for that.

1) Allows use of FTP
2) Allows MySQL creation
3) Use your own domain (some don’t let you do that)
4) Allows you to have your own 404 page (some have their own custom one)
5) No forced advertising
6) High uptime
7) High disk space
And the other basic stuff. Preferably <£10 a month (I know that’s not much for what I’m asking, but around that price would be great).
