Posted on Dec 20, 2008 under web hosting | What is the difference between Linux and MS? I've seen this on a few sites that I've been to. Keep in mind, I know nothing about building websites and web hosting. Thanks.

Posted on Dec 20, 2008 under hostgator.com | For last few months, more than 50% of the time I get the above error message with information that the certificate presented is from *.hostgator.com. I don't know whether that is a valid certificate & to be on the safe side cancels the same. But this is severely affecting my connectivity.
By chance if I see the login screen, many a times,
after I enter my id & password, it keeps asking me for password again & again.
Even after I have logged in successfully, the problems do not stop. More than 50% of the time, when I try to open any mail or send reply, hostgator page pops up with "404 Page not found" error.
I have used AVG & avast virus checkers but they show no error.
Please guide me.

Could not use regcure as it needs to be purchased. However, one thing became clear that it is an adware. Now can you give me some freeware solution to remove adware. I cleared up the cache & thought that problem got solved but it again reappeared.
