Posted on May 15, 2008 under domain news and reports | 2 CommentsIt was working a couple days ago. It will not allow me to type in like yahoo.com, I have to type in http://yahoo.com. Before this happened when i hit go or return it would just put the http in the adddress bar automatically. It is a major pain in the arse. Please if anyone can tell me how to fix this. I have reset settings run adware and virus scans. Im just lost on this one!!!??? Help!!!

Free web hosting/domain?
Posted on May 15, 2008 under domain news and reports | 2 CommentsI'm going to be making a web site for somebody and I have to do it without it costing anything. I know of free web hosting from Angelfire and Geocities, but I really would like something that doesn't have any pop-ups, addbanners, or long URL names. I also know how to turn my computer into a web server, but I'de really rather not. I'de like to have a decent amount of webspace, PHP & CGI capabilities, no pop-ups/ad-banners, short URL name, no file-size limit, and a high data transfer limit. Does anybody have any recommendations?

Posted on May 15, 2008 under domain news and reports | 1 CommentI'm considering experimenting. How do I set up my own domain with little or no costs?
Posted on May 15, 2008 under domain news and reports | 1 CommentI want to set up a domain with an alt personality or annonymous identity to experiment with certain subjects or bring attention to subjects often thought but seldom addressed. I intend to play the host. How do I go about this? And how can I do it in a way that does not offend people; yet address adult (NOT SEXUAL CONTENT) matters in which kids cannot access. It contains anything from politics, parenting, singlehood, jobs, real life situations, etc. I also want the domain to make persons feel free to exchange beliefs, modern views and opinions and be free of ugly language and sexual images. Definately adult, but steers clear of all the trash that accompanies it.I would like open exchange with respondents and among persons whom strike upon the same subject.
