To start off I'm a web designer novice!!

So, I've got a free host to start me off. and I'm just buying my domain name.

In the domain stuff, in my host, I've read about connecting the name etc. they say…"You should set your domain name to use our DNS (domain name servers)".

Being totally dim, but does this mean you'll end up with their name in your address too??!

I need to know these details as i'm having these similar problems with my offical domain name. The service provider says that your domain as it is expired is into some other place i dont know what name he said but the summary is he said its expensive to renew an expired domain. IS IT CORRECT ??
